WHY Don't We 'Trust' ANYONE, ANYWHERE, About ANYTHING, EVER?
JESUS Asked in Luke 18:8b, "When the Son of Man comes, will He find 'faith' on earth?" What is the Hebrew Root meaning of Faith? It is the act whereby a person lays hold of God's resources, becomes obedient to what He has prescribed and putting aside all self interest and self-reliance, 'trusts' Him completely. The Amplified Bible says, 'To Believe In, Rely On, Cling To, Adhere To, Be Confident In (@ ALL times, with ALL your heart, mind, soul, Spirit [even in your weakness] & strength), Recognize and Acknowledge, Hold On To, Keep Going, Hope For & 'TRUST' In!' You're either responding like the Pharisee in Luke 18:11b-12, ‘I thank you, God, that I am not like other people—cheaters, sinners, adulterers. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! 12 I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income,’ truly justified before God, as in Luke 18:13, “But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner," or being open and honest before Jesus and humbly proclaiming, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!" Mark 9:24, ESV.
MANY of us have prayed for corruption to be exposed and now what was behind the curtain is blatantly in our face 24/7/365, so we're suffering through a time of overexposure, overwhelmed, frustrated, disappointed in the world that we find ourselves living in, but we are NOT of this world! Yes, we're in it, but to complete the works that Our Heavenly Father has called us to, what He has prepared for us to do, as salt and light, Ambassadors for Christ/Messiah/The Anointed ONE, Ministers of The Gospel, The Good News, to bring Hope, Shalom, Peace, Wholeness, Fullness, Blessing, Joy, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Self Control, Forbearance, LOVE & His FAITH-FULLNESS, because without Faith/'Trust,' It Is IMPOSSIBLE To Please GOD. Whatever we do unto the least of these, in this present world of darkness, we have done it unto Him, The Light Of The World, The Hope Of Israel, The Hope Of The Nations & The HOPE that will not disappoint us!
THIS Holy-Day Season, Come Let Us Adore HIM, Bow Down Before HIM, Humble Ourselves In The Sight Of The Mighty GOD that HE Is and 'TRUST,' recommit our lives to HIM, cleansed by The Blood Of The LAMB Of GOD, Who Has Taken Away Our Sin, that has so easily beset us, before such a Great Cloud Of Witnesses/Martyrs and Listen/Take Heed to what The Holy Spirit Is Saying to The Church/Ekklesia/The Called Out Ones TODAY, so that we can usher in The Second Coming of Our LORD & Savior, JESUS. In spite of all the trying situations and circumstances everyone in the world has dealt with in 2020, God Is With Us and Promises to Take Us Through, to Bring Us Forth as GOLD, so TAKE Courage & Keep PRAYING, for Our Redemption Draws Near and Look Unto HIM, Who Is The Author & Finisher/Completer of Our FAITH (Trust). Finish WELL!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6
