Are We Through?
Subject: Are We Through? February 2026 NM Prayer Connect Newsletter!
Romans 5 Therefore, having been justified by faith, [a] we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and [b] we exult in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only this, but [c] we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us (NASB 1995).
Footnotes
Romans 5:1 Two early mss let’s have
Romans 5:2 Lit we boast; or let’s
Romans 5:3 Lit we also boast; or let’s also boast.
No matter who you are or where you are in this world, you're most likely going through something or thinking you're totally through altogether, but God has promised to take you through the fire and through the flood, He's refining you in His Refiner's (Holy Spirit) Fire, bringing you forth as gold, fit for The Father's good purposes, to perform the works, which He has prepared for you to do, from before the foundations of the earth were laid. Yes, like King David wrote in Psalm 23, even though we are presently walking though the valley of the shadow of death, in this present world of darkness, we should 'Fear Not,' because He is with us always and for us, He'll never leave or forsake us, no matter what things look like, we're called to walk by faith and not by sight, but there is a process, so like the above portion of Holy Script, Let Us, as God said in Genesis, Let's have Peace/Shalom with God, Our Heavenly Father, Let Us exult in The Hope, Jesus, Who will not disappoint us and Let's boast and exult in the trials and tribulations that come our way, which give us perseverance, proving and improving our character, because God's Love has been poured out and into our hearts. Now, like Paul and Jesus, you and I can be poured out, as a drink offering before God and our fellow humans, sharing the Love of God and the good news of Jesus, by the Holy Spirit to all and there's more!
Romans 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. 12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law (NASB 1995).
The Bible tells us that "LIFE Is In The Blood," so we appear before God, just as if we had never sinned, justified, when we are cleansed by The Blood Of The Lamb. We are 'Saved,' brought into Salvation/Yeshua/Jesus, through the ministry of The Holy Spirit and through Jesus, we're brought into a right relationship with Our Father Who Art In Heaven, meaning we have been reconciled, which is why each and every born-again believer and follower of Christ/Messiah/The Anointed One has the full time ministry of reconciliation, to bring others into a right relationship with God The Father and our fellow humans. The Gift Of God Is Eternal LIFE, so there is now no condemnation in Christ and it's available to all, because God wishes that none would perish and that all would come unto Him and He allows us to enter into His Rest. Disobedience brings God's wrath, but obedience always brings God's blessing, a right standing relationship with Him.
Romans 5:16 The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification.
17 For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
18 So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men.
19 For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous (NASB 1995).
My brother-in-law used to say, "On the other hand, four fingers and a thumb..." In the book of Romans alone, Paul, under the leadership and guidance of God's Holy Spirit writes 'through' thirty-three times. The emphasis is so much more than a "Moses, Moses, Verily, Verily" or "Truely, Truely." Surely God is trying to lead and guide us into all Truth and understanding about His process of taking us from glory to glory, grace to grace and vessel to vessel. Jesus looked beyond The Cross and many of us are stuck two thousand years ago, still at the foot thereof. The Book Of Hebrews tells us that we are to enter into The Holy Of Holies, where the very Presence Of God The Father Dwells, 'through' The Rent Veil, which Is His (Jesus') Body, not by our own might or power, but "By My Holy Spirit," says The LORD/Yahweh! The Holy Spirit leads us to The Son, Who came to 'show us The Way' to The Father. Jesus exhorts us to go to The Father 'In His Name,' asking whatever we will and He will do It. Are you Asking The Father, Seeking His Will and Knocking, so that The Door will be open unto you? Remember, Jesus only said and did what The Father told Him to say and do and eventually He will lay everything at The Father's Feet. Are we in, of, by, for, 'through' and to Him? I once attended a Holy Spirit only church in NJ and there's a Jesus only church here in Rio Rancho, NM, where I live, but should we not be a full gospel church, baptizing In The Name of The Father, Son & Holy Ghost? Up to this point in your life, what has God brought you through, which you can give all glory, honor and praise about and what is He presently bringing you through, to get you where you need to be, because He's wanting to use you to further His Kingdom, here on earth, as it is in Heaven? Jesus says to you and me, "Just as The Father sent Me, so I AM sending you, GO and do likewise," so you have been called and sent, but will you say to Him, "Not my will, but Thine be done?" ""ABBA, FATHER!"
"ABBA, FATHER!" Subject: "Abba, Father!" - January 2026 NM Prayer Connect/PATH, NM/COG, NM, El Paso, TX & Southwest Indian Ministries (SWIM) Newsletter
Only 3 times in the new testament is the word 'Abba' used for "Father," and it's in Aramaic, meaning an intimate relationship with our 'Daddy!'
Mark 14:36 And He was saying, “Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will (NASB 1995).”

The Bible is very clear that Jesus came to show us The Way to The Father, but are we in an intimate, personal relationship with The One Who so Loves us that He gave His One & Only Begotten Son to save the world? Jesus says in John 17, "Just as The Father sent Me, so I Am sending you!" Paul the Apostle asks, "How are they going to know if we don't tell them?"
The Word, "Father" is in the scriptures more than 1,000 times, so we ought to pay attention to what The Holy Spirit is saying to The Church/Ecclesia, His 'Called Out Ones' in 2026!
It's believed by most biblical scholars that Jesus only took 15 minutes to give us what is called, 'The Sermon On The Mount,' in Matthew 5-7. Although this is basically short and sweet, He uses The Word, "Father" 17 times in this portion of Holy Script alone. I often say, when God is speaking, "Moses, Moses" or Jesus is saying, "Verily, Verily/Truely, Truely," They're trying to get our attention, like when The Bible says, "Behold," meaning look, see, fix your eyes upon this! Even Jesus says, "You will go to The Father, In My Name." I'm not trying to be dogmatic here, but I do believe that Jesus only said and did what The Father told Him to say and do, so when He tells us to "Go and do likewise," we need to take Him far more seriously, like our 'father,' Abraham, as recorded in both the old and new testament, he took God at His Word and acted upon It, because Jesus' ½ brother tells us that "Faith without works is dead." As we leave the old year behind and press on into the new, let us go boldly into our future, praying in the Prophetic Word like Daniel. Every disciple of Christ, meaning Messiah, The Anointed One, should be standing on the promises of God, knowing that they are yes and amen in Jesus! We're told that everything that can be shaken will be shaken, except for the Kingdom Of God. Paul tells us, "The Kingdom Of God Is Righteous, Peace & Joy In The Holy Spirit!" He declared that his righteousness was as filthy rags, but all believers are declared righteous, "The Righteousness Of God In Christ Jesus." You and I are ambassadors, representing Jesus everywhere we go! He Is our Shalom, peace, wholeness, fullness and blessing. The Joy Of The LORD Is our strength, The Fruit Of The Holy Spirit, according to Galatians 5 and in our weakness, God shows Himself Mighty in our midst! I anticipate great things in this new year because, "God Is Faithful, by Whom you have been called." He's The Hope that Is within the veil, The Hope Of Israel, The Hope Of the nations, The Hope Of the world and The Hope that will not disappoint us, according to His Word, Will & Way + He watches over It to perform It, so let us go boldly into our future together, knowing that He goes before us in all things, He's with us and for us, He'll never leave or forsake us, He's above you, below you, beside you, behind you and it's Christ in you, The Hope of Glory, God's manifest Presence in 2026 and in His Presence is fullness of Joy!
